Sunday, June 17:  Father’s Day

Give thanks for your Heavenly Father.

Ask God to bless your earthly father.

For some people, Father’s Day is not a pleasant day. Remember those who may have a difficult relationship with their earthly father.

 

Monday, June 18:

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” Psalm 23:6

Ask God to bless our Vacation Bible School which begins tonight.

Pray for the children who will come

Pray for their families.

May all our children grow closer in their relationship with “The Master Carpenter”!

 

Tuesday, June 19: 

“And I will dwell in the house of the Lord, forever.” Psalm 23:6

Pray for your Sunday School class members.

Pray for your neighbors.  Invite neighbor children to VBS!

Seek ways that you might minister to you neighbors.

 

Wednesday, June 20: 

Thank God for the gifts and bounty of summer.

Remember those who do not have air conditioning in their homes.  Could they use a new fan?

 

Thursday, June 21: First Day of Summer

“Fear not, I am with you, do not be dismayed; for I am your God.”  Isaiah 41:10.

Ask God to give you a positive, cheerful, sunny attitude toward life.

Remember those who struggle with depression.

 

Friday, June 22:

Thank God for those who have been influential in your spiritual life. 

Ask God to help you share your faith with others.

 

Saturday, June 23:

Ask God to reveal deep spiritual truths to you as you study His Holy Word.

Prepare your heart to worship God tomorrow.
