Monday, February 12:
“Guide me in your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God, my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.,” Psalm 25:5
Ask God to guide us as a Church that we may following God’s path. Pray for Jerry Gault and the Board of Trustee as they work to complete the sanctuary renovation. May their work progress smoothly. And may we as a Church rally around this project which will bless our worship of Almighty God.
Tuesday, February 13:
Be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
Pray that you can show kindness to everyone, just as God has shown kindness to you. Ask God to help you shine His light on those you meet daily that others may see Jesus in you.
Wednesday, February 14: Ash Wednesday
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7
Ask God to help you to love others and to show your love in word and deed.
Don’t forget the Ash Wednesday service at Broyhill Chapel today at noon.
Thursday, February 15:
Pray for our Chancel Choir as they meet tonight to continue their work on the music they offer to God each Sunday so faithfully. Pray specifically for the music that they and our Children’s Choir will offer on Palm Sunday.
Give thanks for our music ministry.
Friday, February 16:
Pray for those with chronic or terminal illnesses. Remember those who are homebound in your prayers.
Pray for all caregivers.
Saturday, February 17:
Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10
Be still and quiet before God, asking God to show you anything in your daily living that is hindering your witness.
Spend quiet time with God listening for God’s still, small voice.
Sunday, February 18:
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 52:10
Pray for our time of Bible Study and worship today. Pray for all who will lead in worship.
