Monday, January 15:
Pray for those with chronic or terminal illnesses.
Remember those who are homebound in your prayers.
Pray for all caregivers.
Tuesday, January 16:
“Be still, and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
Ask God to help you be patient and listen for His still small voice today.
Wednesday, January 17:
Thank God and praise Him for physical health, abilities, and talents. Ask God to show you ways to use your gifts and abilities to bless others. Ask God for strength to keep your New Year’s resolutions.
Thursday, January 18:
“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
Pray that you show kindness to everyone, just as God has shown kindness to you. Ask God to help you shine His light on those you meet daily that others may see Jesus in you.
Friday, January 19:
Pray that God will help you grow in faith and in confidence to be a better witness for Christ.
Saturday, January 20:
Praise God for the privilege and power of prayer.
Humbly ask for forgiveness for not seeking God’s guidance for yourself, our leaders, our nation and the world.
Sunday, January 21:
Pray for those who will be ordained as Deacon’s today.
Pray for our new deacons and for the first Deacon’s meeting of the New Year. Ask God to guide them and give them wisdom to lead us well.
