Monday, December 25: Christmas Day

“The Word became flesh and made His home among us.  We have seen His glory, glory like that of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.”  John 1:14

Give thanks to God for family and friends who have gathered to celebrate the gift of Jesus.

Tuesday, December 26:

Praise God for the privilege and power of prayer.

Humbly ask for forgiveness and seek God’s guidance for yourself, our leaders, and our world.

Wednesday, December 27:

Pray for our families to grow strong spiritually.

Pray for Children’s Church and nursery volunteers and for all the children of our Church.  Ask God to help you support and love our families.

Thursday, December 28:

“For this is how much God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Pray for all Chaplains.  Ask God to provide strength, wisdom, and guidance as they seek to serve and support their communities.

Friday, December 29:

Thank God for the gift of prayer and ask God to help you incorporate more prayer into your life.  May we all be more spiritually receptive and response to God’s leading in the New Year.

Saturday, December 30

As you reflect on 2017, remember the moments that you were close to God.  Ask God to help you draw nearer to Him in 2018.

Sunday, December 31: New Year’s Eve

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”  Isaiah 40:31

As we prepare to enter a New Year, pray for our continued unity and a cooperative spirit as a community of believers.  Join us for worship and commit to starting out the New Year in the House of the Lord!
