Friday, December 1:

“The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; the calf and the young lion will feed together, and a little child will lead them.”  Isaiah 11:6

Pray for the children and youth in our church and community and for our ministries to them.  Thank God for their vitality and inquisitiveness!

If you haven’t picked up a Operation Santa gift tag, why not stop by the church and do so today?

Saturday, December 2:

Remember our homebound members and their families.  Ask God to show you how to reach out to someone who is on our homebound list.

Sunday, December 3: First Sunday of Advent

“I was glad when the said to me, ‘Let us go into the Lord’s House!’” Psalm 122:1

Remember our Chancel Choir, accompanist, soloists, narrators, the Chamber Orchestra, and our special guest, Mary McDonald as we prepare to offer “Peace Has Come” in worship today.  Invite someone to come with you today who may not know Jesus!

Monday, December 4:

Pray for the financial needs of our church.  Ask God to help our Church meet our financial obligations with a cheerful heart.

Tuesday, December 5:

“A shoot will grow up from the stump of Jesse; a branch will sprout from his roots.  The Lord’s spirit will rest upon him.  A spirit of wisdom and understanding, a spirit of peace and strength, a spirit of knowing and fear of the Lord.”  Isaiah 11:1-2

Remember our Senior Adults.  Thank God for their wisdom and leadership.

Pray for those who serve as caretakers.

Wednesday, December 6:

Pray for all our staff and ask God to renew their energy as we enjoy this busy time in the Church year.

Thursday, December 7:

“Rejoice in the Lord always!  Again I say, rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

As we continue our Advent study today at 12:00 noon, remember David Smith as he leads us.

Please plan to join us!

Friday, December 8:

Ask God to give you a servant heart.

Pray for God to give you opportunities to serve our Church and the community.

Saturday, December 9:

Remember your Operation Santa gifts are due tomorrow.  Remember to pray for the child that will receive your gift(s)!

Sunday, December 10: Second Sunday of Advent

“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.” Psalm 119:18

Pray for our worship service today.  Ask the Holy Spirit to move among us.  May we hear God’s still small voice as we worship God in spirit and in truth today.

Sit with someone different today in worship.
