Wednesday, November 1:

“For all the saints who from their labors rest, who Thee by faith before the world confessed.  They name, O Jesus, be forever blest.  Alleluia!”  –Williams W How, 1864

Today is All Saints Day, when the church remembers those who have gone before us.  Let us give thanks for those who have gone before us and helps us be faithful here at Mars Hill Baptist Church!

Thursday, November 2:

“Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid.  Do not lose hope.  I am the Lord your God.  I will be with you everywhere you go”.  Joshua 1:9

Ask God to help you share your faith with someone you know.  Pray that we will all be a light for Jesus in this dark world.

Friday, November 3:

Give thanks that God sent His Son, Jesus for you.  Thank God that the Holy Spirit is praying for you.

Remember to pick up an operation Santa tag to help one of the children in our community experience the love of God through the kindness of the sharing of your generosity.

Saturday, November 4:

“Love your neighbor as yourself”.  Leviticus 19:18

Pray for our Sunday School teachers as they prepare to lead their classes tomorrow.  Ask God to help you make Bible Study a priority.

Seek out a neighbor this week and talk with them.  Hold them up in your prayers.

Sunday, November 5:

“You are the light of the world.  A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”  Matthew 5:14

Today Daylight Savings Time ends.

May God help us remember that we are called to be light and salt for Him!
