Monday, January 2:
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. Isaiah 40:30
School resumes in Madison County today! Pray for our community schools, principals and teachers. Pray for our students as they begin a new semester.
Tuesday, January 3:
Pray for your family today. Ask God to help you minister to them and pray that love will abound in your home. Pray for your Church family and give thanks!
Wednesday, January 4:
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert with an attitude of thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
Remember our Chancel Choir as they resume rehearsals after their Christmas hiatus. Is God calling you to use your gifts as a part of the choir? There IS room for you!
Thursday, January 5:
Pray for those who are sick in our Church and community.
Ask God to heal them and bless them.
Pray for all those who struggle and ask God to help you know how you might help them.
Friday, January6:
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1
Today is Epiphany! “Old Christmas”.
In the Church Epiphany is celebrated as the day the Wise Men found Baby Jesus, the day Jesus was “revealed”.
Ask God to reveal more about Jesus to you in the coming year!
Saturday, January 7:
Love your neighbor as yourself. Leviticus 19:18
Pray for your neighbors. Ask God to bless them and keep them in His care.
Sunday, January 8:
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and its righteousness. Matthew 6:33
Pray for our Sunday School and worship today and for God’s will to be done. Give thanks for God’s message.
Ask God to help us be the body of Christ in our community.
