Monday, September 19:

Pray for Regina Williams and the work she does to support our church. Pray for her family.

Pray for those who are discouraged by events or problems in their lives.  Ask God to show you a way to provide encouragement to them.

Tuesday, September 20:

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 52:10

Spend quiet time with God listening for God’s still, small voice.

Recommit your time and talents to God.  Ask God to be transform you into the person God has created you to be. 

Wednesday, September 21:

Pray for all our Boards and Committees as they meet to prepare their budgets for 2017.

Pray for the Board of Finance as they meet to discern a sustainable budget.

Pray that we as a church will be faithful in our giving to the Lord. 

Thursday, September 22:

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” Matthew 9:37

Happy first day of autumn! 

Thank God for the wonders of this time of the year.

Pray for The Lord’s Harvest as they make deliveries throughout the month to those who are hungry in Madison and surrounding counties.

Friday, September 23:

Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you. Psalm 55:22

Pray for any cares that are interfering with your relationship with God. Thank God for always being present with us and for shouldering our burdens.

Saturday, September24:

Ask God to be with those dealing with illness or the loss of a loved one.

Pray for those who are serving as caretakers.

 Sunday, September 25:

God has given us the Holy Spirit that we may know about the things given to us by Him. 1 Corinthians 2:12

Pray that we welcome the Holy Spirit in our worship service today and that we follow the leading of the Spirit. 

Pray for our pastor, Tommy Justus, and for his family.
