Monday, August 8:

Pray for the Korean Students who were with us the week of July 18th as they travel back home to Korea this week.  May God grant them traveling mercies and a warm welcome back home.

Tuesday, August 9:

Remember our community Pool Party tonight.  Invite your friends and neighbors to join us.  Help this to be a wonderful kick-off event for our fall activities.  Help us make those who come feel welcome and want to become involved in the ministries of Mars Hill Baptist Church.

 Wednesday, August 10:

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

Praise God for the beauty of creation and the bounty of this summer season.

Thank God for loving you and revealing Himself to you in creation.

Remember the Mars Hill University Football Team who will be arriving today.  Don’t forget about our Hot Dog lunch at noon.  Helpers are appreciated beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Thursday, August 11:

Let us not become weary in doing good,. . Galatians 6:9

Pray God will give you a servant heart.  Pray for opportunities to serve our community.

Pray for our deacons as they serve their families. Ask God to give them strength to minister faithfully.

Friday, August 12:

Give to the Lord the glory due His name.  Bring an offering and come before Him. 1 Chronicles 16:29

Pray that the financial needs of the church will be met; pray each member will renew their commitment to God and God’s church.

Saturday, August 13:

By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:35

Pray God will help you see others through His eyes, and pray to be more sensitive to opportunities to show God’s love through your words and deeds.

Pray for the Brazil Mission Team as they travel home today.  May God grant them traveling mercies.

Sunday, August 14:

I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Psalm 122:1

Pray for our pastor, Tommy Justus and his wife, Tanya.

Pray for the worship service today and ask God to help us feel the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for our Sunday School teachers and our classes.
